Betty is the best! She does excellent work and is so friendly. I have had many alterations done by her and I couldn't be happier with her work! I highly recommend her! She's goes above and beyond to meet your needs.nShe did an excellent job on a fancy gown I needed for my son's wedding. She's also completed other pieces for me in record time and fair prices.
My mother took her dress to Betty for alterations for her mother of the bride dress. My wedding is in October. The dress was dropped off early august. My mother didn't hear from her for some time. Then saw her check was cashed, but still no word from Betty. It came down to the week before my wedding and my mom called her. She was sick to her stomach worried. Betty took a FEW DAYS to call back. My mom had to go there after work to get it pinned, which for some reason took over an hour, which was very tough on her. She said she almost passed out. Then when she took the dress home and tried it on a button FELL OFF. So now she has to fix that. She doesn't even want to go back. And such LAST MINUTE work. We are doing a destination wedding so we have a lot of other things to do. This should have been taken care of a whole ago since she had the dress for months.
Betty did an amazing job on my daughter's prom dress, she took us last minute and listened to what we wanted done with the dress, she is definitely top notch! Will definitely come back in the future, sweet lady with amazing talent that's hard to find these days!
She had my mother of the bride dress for 3 months, after 2nd phone call to her she finally started alterations, she took the sides in that were already too tight so had to let it back out, I finally got it the week before we left for my daughter's destination wedding and when I got it home and tried it on one of the buttons fell off so I had to sew it back on.
Was told one price for having a coat altered then the price went up another fifty dollars. She said coat was done, when I got my coat it was still not done to what I was told she would do and what I paid for. Still to large and she did not offer to finish it. But sure did take my money.
