The waffle fries were the best I’ve ever had!!! This is by far the greatest restaurant I’ve ever visited. Everyone was very nice and polite, it was the best food I’ve ever eaten, very clean restaurant. I definitely wouldn’t ever visit here again. If you want to have a good family dinner, do NOT go to this joke of a restaurant.

scallops were fresh and great. the roast beef sandwich was nothing spectacular. the server was polite, though he never acknowledged me but made sure my girlfriend was acknowledged. the only drawback is the language we could hear coming from the kitchen. apparently, they must have thought the restaurant was empty.

Homemade spaghetti sauce over the lasagna, perfectly toasted garlic bread, rack of ribs falling off the bone, service was great, warm welcoming atmosphere, prices are affordable. If you appreciate being impressed by a restaurant, then this is place to go.

Conveniently located across the street from Calais Motor Inn, the Wickachee Dining room is a rose among the thorns. While small in size, the dining area is warm and inviting without being cluttered. Our server was of a caliber one expects in a five star restaurant-knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly while maintaining a professional distance. Our food was served hot, fresh and in a timely manner & WOW! We were shocked at the size of the sea scallops! Huge, but perfectly cooked, as was the medium-rare steak and German potatoes that rounded out my husband's meal. My roasted turkey dinner was simply delicious, with real mashed potatoes, stuffing, turkey gravy, a bit of cranberry sauce, and butternut squash. My husband rarely finishes a plate, but he enjoyed every last bite!

Awesome breakfast! Fast, caring service... a MUST eat if in/going through Calais... or make a road trip to this great place to dine!!
