Just ok. Parking is easy. Not worth if you aren’t already nearby

So calm and relaxing. Perfect for parents with young children. Very shallow waters. Parking could be an issue on weekends.

Drift Inn, is certainly one of the best beaches in the mid coast area. Don't expect lots of sand on high tide but it has a long sand bar in which you can walk out on. When it is low tide, you can walk out a decent distance to the water. It is a very beautiful beach that has lots of different things going on because of the tides. They have opportunities for swimming, tide pooling, climbing on rocks as well as making sand castles. These activities can be a little different depending on the tide. The parking is alright. You can either park on the side of the road which is sketchy or you can park in their parking lot which is away from the beach by a couple hundred feet. They don't have bathrooms, just a port a potty. This is a beautiful place to swim out to in the summer as well as visiting in the winter because it has a good way of having the sun set on the ocean as well as having a beautiful sun rise. Overall, this is a great beach to visit, if you aren't a local, it is a little ways away but besides that it is worth coming to. Depending on what type of tide you prefer, it would be a good idea to plan a head and see what time is best according to its tide levels.

I've been to and have enjoyed this beach and coastal area several times and have always encountered friendly folks who live in the area, including yesterday evening when my dog played with a local dog just before sunset. No one has ever said anything about private property or been anything but welcoming. Until this morning. A visibly unhappy, curt man with an accent from away flagged me down as I walked along the rocks, where I had been picking up trash. He harshly informed me that I was trespassing on private property and that I was ignorant of the law. So, I guess somewhere along there, there is private property that the general public is supposed to just magically know about.nToo bad he doesn't pick up the trash on his private beach.
