Everything about Ancho Honey is 5 star. The location is amazing, restaurant is set up great for window take out, deli style counter service or dine in. Malcolm is a great host and makes you feel welcome and at home right away. There’s a perfectly curated shop for hard to find food stuffs as well as a line of tee shirts and sweatshirts that are so cool both my teenage kids had to have one. All that perfection aside, I made the 40 minute drive for a ghost pepper fried chicken sandwich I had seen in my gram feed so let’s talk about it. Here’s the deal: it’s the best chicken sandwich. Notice how I didn’t add more to that sentence like “in Maine” or “I’ve had in years”. Nope. It’s that simple. It’s the best chicken sandwich.

Best chicken sandwich I've ever had. Hands down. Tried a few other things on the menu including the burger, amazing as well. Cute little shop with gourmet hot sauces, pickles, salts, etc. Awesome spot!

I am literally still licking my chops after having glommed on the Truffle Shuffle, a fancy grilled cheese with truffle oil. YUM!!!!nnThis place is very cute and features a surprisingly interesting menu as well as a very nice staff. My partner is also enjoying her meal. Well worth a visit if you are in the Thomaston area!nn(now where did I put that lemon bar??)

Love this place, worth the trip from anywhere. Specifically, look for Thursday burger night and chicken sandwich Sunday, that where it's at.
