Great place to hike or snowshoeing. The main trail is 1.17 miles. There is a meeting area with picnic tables with roof and learning area with benches.nWould be a great place for an educational hike for tree identification, birding and other wildlife. There is a marsh area and vernal pool area. Trail has small bridges and marked well. Along the trail there are informational signs about the trees and wildlife you will see.
Well its actually called Woodbury Nature preserve. Wouldn't let me put in actual name.nLittle hike down to stream. Pond you can't walk around.
The main trail is nice with blazes that are easy to follow. I took my dog, and besides the mosquitoes we enjoyed it a lot.
I go snowshoeing every yr with my dog here and it's a good walk about. I can usually spend a few hrs if we do both trails and they are kept up well. They ask you take out your trash so I just bring a backpack with supplies.
Nice little hike. Bring bug spray!
