Hi Guys,nnI rented the 15' whaler w/ 50 HP. I thought the boat was better than advertised. It exceeded my expectations in terms of speed and power. I had 3 other adults in the boat with me and we were able to move right along. We used the boat for cruising and fishibg. When we encountered stormy weather it handled it well too.nnThanks again Rob for the awesome boat!nnBest,nChris

We rented a pontoon boat from Rob and it was super easy. Boat was clean and in great shape. He is easy to work with and was prompt in delivering and picking up the boat. When weather had the potential of impacting our plans, he was very flexible with us as he wanted to be sure we all had a great time on the water. I’d certainly rent from them again in the future.

After searching for a canoe rental in our area of Ellsworth, Maine, we came across Downeast Boat Rentals. I contacted Robert Marshall and he immediately returned my call. We made arrangements to pick up the canoe at his business the next day, though you can request a delivery. We had a great time and really enjoyed meeting Robert and making the contact. We had an excellent day on Donnell Pond and the logistics of getting a canoe from Downeast Boat Rentals was a perfect location for our day there. The canoe was in excellent condition and we really appreciated being able to borrow the extra straps, boat cushions, and supports for transporting the boat on my car roof. Thank you for faciliating such a great Downeast adventure!

Great experience! Rob was very flexible and accommodating with the delivery and pickup and the canoe was in great shape. Would definitely recommend if you need a boat rental Downeast.

This is a great local company. The owner was flexible and knows the area really well, dropped off our canoe at the lake where we were camping for the week and picked up on the other end. Reasonable prices, exactly what we needed.
