This is a great quiet hidden gem away from the bustling crowds of Acadia National Park. Since Indian point preserve is not part of the national Park it draws less attention from tourists and offers a much more secluded and quiet hike out to the ocean. The trail itself is gorgeous and mossy and the beach is full of large rocks to climb on and explore several small tide pools. Though we did not see any seals, many locals say it's a great spot to look for them. I recommend going just before low tide.
Beautiful hike. Watch your ankles a lot of roots and rocks.
Easy trail, great view and even saw a couple of seals in the water
Nice short hike through the forest and a beach at the end.
Absolute serenity! Wildlife is abundant and seaside is heaven!!
