Must stop for all breakfast lovers
Nothing special food.
Outstanding!
Wow! The food here is really, really good! The corn beef hash is amazing -- it might be my favorite I've ever had! So tasty! The scrambled eggs with it were perfect as was the huge english muffin. My boyfriend ordered the biscuits & gravy and loved his meal as well. We split a single blueberry pancake since it's a staple in Maine -- how could we not try it? Actually during our trip to Bar Harbor we made a point to try blueberry pancakes at a few different restaurants and we both thought Great Maine Breakfast's was the best! Highly recommend this place! Get there early because it does get pretty busy :)
I hate to leave a bad review but this breakfast was unexpectedly below average. The food was extremely bland, and had zero flavor. Between my boyfriend and I we had scramble eggs, over medium eggs, home fries, their fruit, blueberry pancake, and baked beans. Despite the photos of delicious looking food online there was nothing appetizing about our food that came out. The baked beans were cold, and the blueberry pancake looked nothing like the photos online and didn’t taste good at all. For the other options in the area, this place was not worth it. They were busy, so I’m assuming they sacrificed the quality of their food to push orders out quickly. It might be a better experience during less busy times of the year. On a positive note, their strawberry rhubarb jam was delicious!
