Great hike, medium difficulty, doesn't necessarily need any hiking gear. Rewarding views at the summit!
I accessed this little trail from the Eagle Lake Carriage Road and only hiked to the summit and back...in bicycle shoes (not my best idea!). The views from the nubble (love that word!) of Cadillac Mt and the mountain to the southwest were beautiful shrouded in their fall colors.
2 park rangers said this was their favorite hike in the park. Its never crowded. We loved it and no traffic!
