We pulled over while on an adventure in Yarmouth. We first spent some time at the sand beach. After checking out the map we saw that it is not a private camp but open for the public to enjoy the trails as well. It was a scenic trail with limited views of Casco bay. We stopped to eat lunch and as we were there we experienced an invasion of brown tail moth caterpillars, which freaked out the little ones. So we kept moving to a set of stairs that led to another beach. Nice adventure for a day trip. I did see some BTM spraying going on within Cousins island that day. I recommend sticking to the trails if you go or perhaps learn about the life cycle of Brown tail moth caterpillars before you go in, just in case you are sensitive to the hairs. Overall I'm glad I checked it out.
