I adore Eastlake athletic clubs. I have used both the Elkhart and Granger facilities. I train regularly in Granger, and my trainer is exceptional. I recommend Eastlake, and my personal trainer, to many of my colleagues. I have tried many different athletic clubs over the years, but I have not had such a positive experience with staff and facility. The people at Eastlake truly like what they do and enjoy helping people. It's a comfortable atmosphere no matter what level you are. It's just, good people.
The concept is great however the customer service is less desirable. Easy sign-up however they make it difficult to cancel...even when you completed your annual contract. You must come in during their staffed hours? Why can’t they just cancel via email, personal account or actually speaking with someone? They could improve on cleanliness as well... the women’s bathroom is always dirty and the studio room is as well. Not sure that everyone wipes down the equipment for they only have a couple rags and cleaning solution bottles around the facility. There is not an actual cleaning station.

Love that it's open all the time as I go in the evening. Wide variety of machines and free weights. Management is responsive to concerns. Other patrons are friendly. Staffed from noon to 7 p.m. but a key entry system and security camera make it safe.
I tend to go at non peak hours so for me, a garage gym dedicate not used to busy mega gyms, it's ideal as there is often open squat racks and free weights
