Amazing playground! New ropes course and rubber mounds were fun. Can't wait to come back when the water play area is turned on.nnAlso, on our bike ride through Riis Park, we saw a turtle, baby ducks and geese, and beautiful restoration sites. Will be riding here again soon.
I really love the environment and I also love the summer camp
I have been coming to this park since my childhood. Although that was over twenty years ago, I still visit this park from time to time. My most recent visit was this weekend. I wanted to take my son sledding to try out his new sled, and was looking for a park with decent hills. I remember sledding here once before, and I cannot believe I did not think of this place sooner.nnI searched yelp to find places for sledding, and this was one if the results. There are a good amount of people that gather here to go sledding when it snows but it is never overly crowded. The hills themselves are not very steep but they are a decent size. These hills are perfect for younger kids trying to get used to sleds and looking to spend some time in the snow before graduating to bigger hills.nnIt is also conveniently located across the street from the brickyard shopping center. There are lots of stores for shopping and restaurants for eating with the family after everyone is exhausted. If you're looking for a place to spend a snow day, this place is perfect. I know I'll be returning tomorrow for more sledding.
Beautiful turf soccer field. Bathrooms were in the northeast field house. Must bring your own nets, lotsnIf bird droppings on the field. Would recommend parking on Meade to quickly access the field but it’s one way going south.
They sometimes have the water going at the children's playground. Perfect for taking you kid there to splash around.
