I bought a used car with just one key and the dealer wanted $200 just for one duplicate key. After spending a TON of time online looking for cheaper ways to order keys I could safely program, I stumbled on Active Lock & Key in one of the websites and decided to give them a call. It was well worth it. Over the phone I was able to get a clear explanation of what I needed, a reasonable quote and now have a full set of keys and FOBs for less than half of what it would have cost at the dealer. It was also faster, and well worth the drive from where I live. Extremely friendly service. Hidden gem!

Owner was helping me with getting new key for my car, because I thought I lost it in the snow.. lucky for me I found the key and was able to cancel the order. Service was great, but the locksmith who came out tried to claim the programming for a second key on my fiesta was horribly difficult. I did the same programming myself two days later with ease.nnI'm wishing I'd just skipped the $300 for a key when. I could've gotten the FOB and done it myself.nnIt's a decent company and they're nice enough otherwise. Hindsight is 20/20.
