I’m originally from Effingham so overtime I have tried out a few different gyms in town. By far this is my favorite gym and when they say “no judgment zone” it’s completely true here! Especially for the price I would of expected less. Staff is super friendly and one gal even greets me by name. The whole gym is spotless. The only complaint I have is the hours. I wish they would extend the morning hours and at least open at 5am because 6am doesn’t give me enough time to workout then run home to get kids ready for school. Other than that I love the place!

I enjoy working out at Planet Fitness. Not only can you get your workout in you can tan, get a massage (hydromassage and massage chairs), and also get some red light therapy in the total body stand up. The staff is always courteous and takes the time to show you how to use the machines and the app to get the best workout for you. I've been to several facilities and it's always clean with plenty of equipment. The price is fantastic for everything they have to offer.

It's alright for someone who isn't super into working out and is just going for a general level of fitness. The tanning package is nice for those who tan. However, for those who are especially passionate about fitness, Planet Fitness as a whole isn't ideal. They definitely do pass judgement to those who really know what they're doing in the gym. If you're a gym rat, look elsewhere unless you're broke and can't afford to.

The gyms pretty clean. good selection of equipment to use, and the stuff is all pretty new and the staff is helpful. im a truck driver and there's plenty of parking space which is a huge bonus thought it was open 24 hours again because of people inside working out before the sign said open but I guess not overall good gym though will be coming back when im through effingham

They are quick, consistent and thorough in cleaning , which is well appreciated, especially in these times. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous as well. The black card area is my favorite, especially the Total Body Machine (vibrashake) and hydromassage beds, which are wonderful ways to end a workout. Thank you for bringing this to Effingham!!
