DONT MAKE THE DRIVE!!!! We were on vacation and had been traveling all day. We seen the sign on highway 70 for Timber Trails Camp Ground. We drove 4 miles to the campground, way back a lane to be told they weren't taking any travelers. We asked for just the night, she said no. Looked like they had plenty of open spots. DO NOT MAKE THE DRIVE.
Love this place. So much fun for adults and kids!
What a great surprise on our way home to Cincinnati. Most of the park is full of seasonal campers that have all made their very own little paradise spots. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating.
We had a discount using our travel club. It was still nearly $50 a night to stay. There is a small pool. I guess this is why the rate also included $5 per person. We have a large family but regular rate at $46 a night and $5 per person it is higher in price than any place we stayed across the country. Good sites and nice people, but the price seems high for simple electric and water to me! Watch-out for golfcarts kids are all over on these things. (What happened to bicycles?) Stayed one night and moved on.
