Love this place when I visit Fort Madison.
The waitress was the best. She was alone working, she still had a smile and great personality. I didn't get her name but was super. Food was fast, fresh, and hot. Food tasted great. I had a philly steak and fries.
I loved the food, the hospitality was very good. The owner was very friendly and helpful. They have the best chili I have tried. All in all take half an hour to visit it.
Great home cooked meals with plentiful portions. Great service by friendly employees who make you feel at home. Fort Colony Family Diner will be one of our favorite stops whenever we visit Fort Madison.
Had one of the nightly specials, chicken livers. These were cooked on the flat top, not fried, to near perfection. The staff were all very friendly & attentive, will definitely be back !
