In my experience, this school needs to be under better leadership. Mrs. Jokisch has driven this school into a direction that is unsettling. This school before Mrs. Jokisch was thriving in every way possible under the previous principal. Johnathan Bridges was hands down the worst teacher I have ever had. He punishes kids who should not be punished regularly. He yells and makes kids sit in timeout for the entire period simply because they did not answer a sportsmanship question correctly or if they stepped one foot out of line. Now that I look back on it, it was truly a harsh class where children were harshly disciplined because of Coach Bridges. I had honestly felt as if he held a grudge against me my entire time at Rock Quarry. His assistant PE Coaches were Mrs. Sandra Green and Mrs. Diana Edwards, who just seemed to questionably follow Coach bridges while he set a horrible example on how to treat children in Elementary school.
the school is great very big i do not like that the aid people be by kids.
It's one of our best schools.
