The down home meal is great with rice. The orange rolls are delicious as well.n—UPDATE: Portions have shrunk while prices are high! The down home now comes with two tiny pieces of ham/chicken each. NOT worth the money!

Their online ordering system is relatively easy to use, and my food was always ready for me when I got there.nnLocated in a large, upscale shopping center, Urban Cookhouse is a sort of upperclass, healthy-ish fast casual restaurant. They have a drive-through for pickup orders, which I didn't believe when I saw it on the website...it exists. Strange, but cool.nnThough I didn't stick around long, the interior of the restaurant looked clean and nicely decorated. The service I received was very pleasant and nice.nnI ordered the buffalo chicken wrap with roasted veggies and a sweet tea. It kept well on my drive back to work. The sweet tea was refreshing and had the right amount of sugar. The veggies didn't have a ton of seasoning, but their flavors stood out well enough on their own; the dish consisted of squash, broccoli, carrots, and I believe some zucchini.nnThe buffalo chicken wrap / rolls up was a really good size for the price! I was really hungry but still couldn't quite eat them all (and I'm a pretty big eater). Not a lot of cheese on there, mostly just chicken and buffalo sauce, but the wrap was nice and crispy at the edges and the chicken was mostly juicy. It came with some dipping ranch that tasted house made, really creamy and delicious. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal here and would happily return.

I have always had 5 star experiences while visiting Urban Cookhouse in Tuscaloosa. They are always so friendly and accommodating! The “Berry Good” salad is a personal favorite of mine. However, I have never had anything from there that I didn’t like.

Consistently good food. Recommend the family meals designed to feed 4. Usually enough to feed 5-6. Makes dinner easy. Be sure to grab a chocolate chip blondie.
