Beware they do NOT send your taxes the day you file them as most places do (or how it would be filed if you e-filed yourself). They wait until they have a certain number. I.e. our taxes were not filed for nearly 2 weeks after we completed them. This came to us as quite a negative surprise. Oddly, our taxes were received by the IRS the day we called to find out why we couldn't see anything on the IRS's website.nnThey are also twice the price of our normal accountant, who was unavailable this year.nnWe also did not have the good fortune to have Ellen do our taxes. (She is very positive, personable and explains things and the reason for me not leaving less stars.) We instead had a lady that treated us like an inconvenience from the moment we walked through the door.nnHopefully this experience isn't the norm for everyone but I can only write based on our experience.
We filed our Taxes in MARCH & to find out they didn't even file them even after they charged us cause they claim we need to send them a Copy of our Social Security card. What in the scam A** bs is this?!nnWhy would you even CHARGE SOMEONE ALMOST $200 if you weren't going to file someones taxes. Bunch of thefts
Used this place to have our taxes done.. unfortunately not a great experience. The ladies were very nice but they don’t seem to know what they are doing or maybe just was not honest. We went in in February to file our tax, and it’s the end of October still have not received our refund. My husband and I both repeatedly called months after filed they kept telling us someone would get back with us on the status. No calls. Finally talked to the state, they said the check was sent out but to an old address?!!! So they never updated our address from 2 moves and it was supposed to be direct deposit.
