One of my favorite trailheads to start from when I bike the rail trail. There is decent amount of parking, restrooms, and a bike repair station.nnThere is also a nice canoe and kayak launching area and dock.

The trails are so beautiful and well maintained! We always like to take the trail that heads to Morgantown, because of the waterfalls going that direction! The falls are about 1 mile away from the parking lot, then down a pretty steep path which leads to the main waterfall. A good walk if you are in the area!

All the rail trails in Preston County are awesome. I just have one thing. We have been doing trails on bikes for at least 6 weeks. They are beautifully kept and awesome. The trail that starts in Masontown is one we use. I am old 67 and been doing great. LaT week the entrance is gated off to keep at a off. The problem I have is that the space for you to ride your bike off is a little small and yesterday my handle bar hit and threw me off bike. I am fine but scared my husband. Could it be moved a little for graceful people like me? Guess I should walk it thru.

Nice flat grassy area. Picnic shelter available. Parking available. Trail map available. Not far from route 7, easily accessible. Flat walking and biking on the trail. A mile hike to beautiful waterfalls at Cascade.

Easy on and off. Could use a little gravel in the parking lot. Thanks to everyone who supports our local trails and please pick up your trash!
