We've eaten at Jalapa many times since moving to the area 2.5 years ago. The food is good, the servings generous and the service is friendly. Love the outside patio. The prices are more the fair. It is not fancy but it is clean and the food is yummy.
This place is my favorite. I go to many restaurants but to this place I keep coming back again and again. The stuff is very affectionate and the cooking they serve is so delicious. I would always prefer to have a decent meal here. Highly recommended.

Have eaten at Jalapas 5-6 times. Food is consistent and good with a nice patio set back from the street. Decent menu overall, not elaborate but so far everything I've tried keeps me going back and it is not the only Mexican restaurant close by. I highly recommended.
Great food but they up charging you for two sides. Two small sour cream and guacamole $5 ud83dude44. Are you kidding me? I eat in so many Mexican places and never got charger extra for sides that high. Last my stop here for sure. For $2.5 I can buy quart of sour cream at grocery store. So they make 500% profit on two mini plastic containers ud83dude15.
