Use him with caution.I paid him $6,000 to establish an Estate Plan for me and my husband who had Alzheimer’s...since Peter Milne screwed it up for 3 years and cost me over $10,000....and did no work!nChuck charged me $6,000 and screwed it up, his “finance” guy tied up every dime we had in Annunities that penalized me for every dollar me I withdrew! My household money was tied up. This “finance”” guy tried to pass it off as a small glitch,“Yeah, but they’re paying you $500 a month”! That won’t pay bills, bud!nChuck did not work Estate Plan out to his due diligence...costing me the $6,000 I paid him and the $16,000 I paid for my husband’s Memory Care home.nIf you’re going to get your Estate planned...know this...just because they say they do them, doesn’t insure they actually know how in practice!nDivorce, child custody, child support, is family law. I would be leery of any atty who adds Wills, Estate Planning to that list ( even if Chuck advertised he was board certified doesn’t mean he did well on his exams)....stick with an atty who does Wills, Estate Planning, etc only.nThey can’t wait excel in all areas!nLike the saying goes....”remember your doctor...half of his class graduated in the lower 50%. “. I would add attorneys.nNot everyone was in top 50%...much less top 10%, although we like to think so!nMake each one accountable. If they won’t call you back...don’t use them...you’re business is not worth a 5 minute phone call to them.
