After years of owning a rental house in Duschene. always rented it out. They called it a second residence. We had to sign a form saying it was a rental. We got the form in not enough time to get it back to them before property taxes. So last year we paid like double taxes for the rental as they charged us for a second home. We have always had a cabin in Duschene so this makes no sense. Oh they said next year 2021 our taxes will be lower. They said the state of Utah required this form. They can not adjust the taxes and refund us the money. Really.
