I’ve enjoyed the barbecue here since it was named the Hickory Log in the mid-60s. We like the barbecue beef and hot links. The hot links are outstanding!! Both regular and spicy barbecue sauce. Vegetable Selection is good and they are delicious! Black-eyed peas Wednesday and Thursday. Deviled eggs and potato salad are also great!
We were ahead of schedule on a recent road trip and stopped here. It was great. The ribd had a nice smokey flavor, the sides were tasty and warm. The staff was friendly. Nice place to take a pit stop before getting back in the road. Thanks. Will visit again.
Great BBQ in Athens. Service and food is top notch, and the owner Greg Hair is the best in the business. Always greeted with a smile and served hot fresh BBQ. If you haven’t tried this BBQ diner then you are missing out.

Constantly great bar-b-que at a reasonable price. All the veggies to go with it. And deserts, you just better go on and check it out. If your on a diet, well... good time to fall off of it!
