Love that this is so close to campus. Prices for grab and go items are much cheaper than on campus. People complaining about the selection or lack of originality of reviews must need something better to do.

1 out of every 10 reviews are worthwhile, well thought, or even genuine.nA 5 star establishment should be the BEST experience imaginable; and with so many bland 5star reviews EVERYWHERE, I'm left to believe 9 out of 10 reviewers lack any imagination whatsoever.nSo, since this store lacks an unimaginable experience, I dock 1 star. 4stars...nAlso, as someone else has stated, the price gouging doesn't make up for the convenient store location. So I've docked another star. 3stars.nAs of now, there are no 2 or 3star reviews, which is clearly misleading.nReviews these days lack integrity. How can everything be either 5stars or 1star? Because Americans lack imagination and focus, that's how.nClearly this is a 3star establishment. Buckle up buckaroos.

BLUF: Be prepared to pay AT LEAST 10% more for your purchases, the proof is in my pictures.nThis Target was clearly made to service the Texas State student community. It’s selection features many more grab-and-go type food items than a regular Target. It’s beer and wine selection is stocked with basic fruity drinks like hard seltzers and the cheapest brews you can find, at high volume. Most housewares are what you would find in a college dorm. Decor wise it’s very stylish, doesn’t quite feel like a Target, but doesn’t feel like a small local shop either. They tried blending the two, and it works. The staff is really friendly too. There are more self checkouts than registers, of which there are only two. It really is just a larger convenient store, price hike included. I shop the large Target in San Marcos regularly and was appalled by the price increase on almost everything I saw. For examples I uploaded photos of some frequently purchased items I know were overpriced. If I were buying any more than $10 worth of merchandise, spend the 70¢ in gas to go to the big Target and buy what you need. You’ll save a lot of money.

Perfect size and location! This target had everything, in a convenient sized store. I wish San Antonio had a target downtown, just like this. Hint hint.....

Convenient location that has most everyday products. Layout is nice and there’s a lot of merchandise around. Parking access is nice also.
