Braum's Ice Cream & Burger Restaurant

Visited this location, immediately following the Arctic Blast in Texas, just searching for a hot meal. (We were still without power at that point).nnThere was literally ONE employee there, and she was doing her very best to cover ALL positions by herself! She was taking orders, cooking, running registers...nnWe decided to not add to the stress of the situation that day, and continued our search.nnKUDOS to that dedicated employee!

The line is always wrapped around the building but they get you taken care of fast. The food is always hot & fresh. The milkshakes are awesome.

The lady that took my order did not read it back to me. Thankfully I looked at my receipt before I left. She left off a whole meal. She did seem nervous and was friendly. Food was great!

There was a crowd because of the weather and everyplace else was closed but they did great served a lot of people very fast and then after the wait we got very good food thank you Brahms

It’s wasn’t the best overall experience, but it had some highlights. I will say the best part of the experience was interacting with the young gentleman who initially started our order and I really wish I had gotten his name. He was super polite, courteous, quick and even helped out later in the visit (if I can ever get his name, I am going to call corporate and request they put him into management training...maybe corporate can contact me and we can figure out his name). It was difficult to checkout, as it was difficult to hear the cashier through the mask and difficult for him to hear through mine. The ice cream (original reason for choosing the establishment) was very good. We also ordered a chicken strips meal which took over 30 minutes to get and I had to ask about it and a couple workers didn’t know what happened (I overheard the same workers talking about how it had been super busy since the recent crippling severe weather in Texas and they felt like they couldn’t get a break). The aforementioned young man, who was the saving grace for the visit, stepped in and got another worker who found the meal and had it remade due to the length of time it had been sitting. Most of the meal was very good, but the roll could’ve passed for the rock Cain used on Able. If the location had better internal logistics, they could vastly improve on their customer experience. And I’d like to reiterate that the young man that started our order should be commended and considered for mentorship and management training.
