I have heard rave reviews about this restaurant about it having great BBQ,and it did not disappoint! The ribs were fall of the bone and their casserole is delicious! I was surprised how fast I finished it. They were decently priced for the amount of food that you get. I had the ribs with two sides (not pictured), and a drink that came out to be about $17.50. Customer service was good,I plan to return to try out other items.
Always super tasty BBQ, Always a correct order and always Big Yellow Cup. When you want BBQ, and can't afford a high bill, this is the place. There are, of course better places for BBQ in DFW, maybe even cheaper with better BBQ, but this one is close, consistent and Safe, by which I mean that the staff wears masks, other patrons observe the 6ft rule and the last time I was in there, the other patrons were all old enough to be Vaccinated in the first wave. Recommended!
After many years of refusing to eat at Dickeys I broke my own rule and decided to get their $11 chopped brisket Saturday special. Evidently I misunderstood what the item description said because instead of chopped brisket with onions, pickles (per.the website) I got a potato with a small amount of chopped brisket. The bacon provided as a topping was rancid and just overall not pleased with the quality of the food for the price. The meat was good but there was less than a handful. Poor value for the price. UPDATE: I talked with the managers and they were lovely - hence the increase in stars. For whatever reason, their website shows what is the corporate special for a higher price point, which I was charged, not the local special (which is clearly displayed inside the restaurant but not on the website). They gave me 1 of the specials that I had intended to purchase as a replacement (although I had originally purchased 2). I was fine with that because although unhappy with the original meal, it was still food and the replacement meal was delicious!
Nice guys. The berry cobbler bar is worth every calorie! Omgggg
Food was deliciousness... Hot and fresh, peach cobbler my God and the potato salad was the bomb
