Don't recommended! He is not responsible at all. I paid for an extra fee for emergent working visa application last year, and follow up with him every day but he still almost messed it up. Update with more details: it was my first time H1 application (need to go through lottery), and he charged me expedite fee. But he barely pick up my phone call, if I have any question about my case, I had to ask for a leave from job and wait for him at his office. The communication is so hard. Although I asked several times, they still mis-spelled my company name. It ends up they need to apply for a new LCA for me. Which take another week and I worried about if I can still make it before the application deadline. He said with no sympathy at all “if we couldn’t meet the deadline, you just don’t apply this year. “ Luckily the case was submitted last minute. But I would never use this lawyer again. I transferred my H1 several times now, and work with several different lawyers. The good lawyers are really easy to work with and give you updates all the time. The irresponsible ones will definitely add a lot more stress and anxiety.

Alan helped me from getting my initial H1B to getting the green card in the past six years. The whole process was not easy. However, with their great help, all difficulties were solved smoothly !

I would like to commend Atty. Alan C. Chen and Kate - his Secretary for helping me renew my H1B and getting my GC. He handled my complex and challenging immigration case until I got my Green Card last month. Attorney Chen is very knowledgeable, straightforward and very accommodating. He would tell you want you need to do in order for you to get your green card. You just to follow his advice and provide the necessary documents and he and his team would take care of it.
