I'm giving this place 1 star only because there's nothing lower to select. O.M.G. we thought we were going to loose a tooth. We couldn't bite nor pull the meat off the ribs the meat was so tough; and the slice Brisket was dry & tough also. This place does not stand up to its past reputation when their dad used to own/run it back in the day in West Dallas when it was located off Singleton & Hampton.nWill never stop here ever again.
Best BBQ in Oakcliff. Its a taste of heaven!! Everything on the menu is delicious. If you are ever in Oakcliff stop by and get a brisket sandwich. You will not be disappointed.
Back in September 2019 we tried their catering service and food for the fist time. We tried their brisket and it was deliciously juicy.The service was great. We place the order a week in advance and stop by to drop of a deposit. The day of our event we got a little busy setting up our party and the young man working that day was kind enough to wait after closing hours to give us our order. I am excited to stop by again today for some ribs :)
I wish I could give this place a 0 stars. I went the other day to try bbq since I saw it had a good rating . I Was very excited to try the food, I even waited since I saw they were a bit busy . I went back to ask if they could take my order , unfortunately the staff ignored me when I was asking them .I knew they heard me since one of the staff looked up at me and went back to do whatever he was doing. Being the only customer standing there for 6 minutes straight looking at them and waiting I just left , since they didn’t make an effort to tell me to wait or ask if they could take my order. This isn’t a way to treat any customer , very rude and disrespectful, not coming back if the staff is bitter toward clientele.
Ordered 4 bbq sand which and a loaded potatoe. Came out to $60. Felt that was a bit steep. The meat was pretty mushy. Did not come with pickles or peppers and the side of bbq sauce was watered down. For the amount I paid I would of expected better quality ingredients.
