The entrances were not where the gps directed me to and rather difficult to find. It was a nice area to walk but we didn't find the train despite finding a lovely rock sending us in the correct direction.
Great place for a chill walk through the woods. Lots of cyclists compared to other trails, so be aware of your surroundings. Dogs must be leashed.
Very nice local hiking place. Good variety of trails. Pretty clean.
Not too much too see other than High Rock.
I regularly run to and in the Needham town forest, often including a brief stop at the top of high rock. It is possible to string together multiple trails and run fairly far. Many intersections are unsigned, so it is unfortunately easy to get turned around.
