We had a great time and experience. This was nice getaway for a couple of people from the Midwest looking to find something different to do on a Saturday.nnWe really didn’t know what to expect but knew we wanted a day trip that was different than the same ole same. The farm tour was perfect. It was educational and very personalized.nnWe couldn’t stop talking about it.nnI highly recommend and would definitely do it again.nnThank you for the great experience.

Owner and tour guide, Jenifer, is the real deal. With her generational line extending beyond Tennessee’s history she is a true local. Literally made up of the dirt in Robertson county. She not only knows where everything is but knows everyone! As we wandered around the backroads I heard story after story. I had no idea the area was so rich in both history and soil. Setting up a tour was seamless and she was very accommodating with my last minute request. I was searching for barns in the area for an art project. Not only was my tour a success, but we also drank fresh cows milk and had one of the most delicious lunches. I highly recommend anyone to take this tour. It is more important than ever to connect with our roots, farmers, and food sources.

The Tennessee farm tour is a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and breathe in some fresh country air. Jennifer takes you back to the roots of America as you meander around a gorgeous countryside in a hefty, comfy suburban. Her knowledge of the history of the land, along with her warm and witty personality makes for an entertaining ride. We met Alfred and Carney Farris of Windy Acres Farm, a lovely couple who have been practicing organic, sustainable agriculture for over 30 years. They gave us a warm welcome by inviting us into their home and sharing their wisdom on life, love, and of course, farming. Overall, this tour was way more than I could have imagined and you just have to experience it for yourself!

Jennifer was a wonderful host, very knowledgable about local farming (tobacco, indigo and hemp to name a few) and history. We were able to interact with locals throughout the tour, and are truly walking away with a better understanding of agriculture and farming in America. Today was definitely a fun day, spent with a great gal and we would highly recommend this tour.
