Church of The Redeemer has a very welcoming congregation. The worship space is the oldest building in town dating back over 200 years. Beautiful building with traditional Episcopal worship. The priest (Mother Regan) is very friendly and makes sure she visits with each guest after the service. The church also does a great job reaching out into the community with different ministries ranging from food and clothing pantries to financial assistance for those in need.

I don't know how to begin to say how sincere and welcoming Mother Regan and the rest of the members at Church of the Redeemer in Shelbyville are! At a time when all was lost in my life, I found Church of the Redeemer, and since going regularly, my hope and faith in humanity has been restored, and everyone there is so honestly willing to help those in need. It is a blessing to have so many good people in my life, and I wouldn't trade my new church family for the world! If you feel alone and like something is missing in your life, a trip to Church of the Redeemer is a great place to start!

Church of the Redeemer is a warm, loving church. The congregation is welcoming and supportive to all who attend. We are always striving to strengthen our service to the Lord, our members and the Shelbyville community. Services are liturgical in nature with traditional music.

The pastor named Ron was very rude to my mother and fiance. He seemed to have made my fiance very uncomfortable by the way he talked, and looked at her. He Was very judgemental of our past lives and just plain hurtful by the things he said. I've heard and seen petty street thugs speak better to women than that pastor did to my mother and fiance. I wouldn't recommend coming to this church to help relieve weight and stress of your past and present personal life obstacles. Awful.
