Great historical site and super interesting if you're a civil war buff or taking the Battle of Nashville driving tour. Parking is a bit weird as there is no dedicated parking lot and we weren't sure if we could park at the adjacent shop so we just pulled over on the road. Some signage and an informative brochure are available to read and serve as plenty enough to learn and understand about the significance of the fortification. A must see stop for any history buff!
Readily accessible off of Polk Ave. Adjacent business allows you to park in their lot of you ask. Brochure from Sons of Confederate Veterans describing history and significance of site sometimes available and very useful. Only of interest to Civil War buffs and Texas history followers.
