Usually go to Lebanon light show, but heard about this and decided to give it a try. Lots of strobe lights, not really any Christmas lights. Staff was nice... but for $65, I’d rather have just drove all the way the Lebanon. Not worth the price you pay.
The best part of this experience was my family in a car listening to Christmas music. The event also ushered visitors into the event smoothly. Howver, the show itself left a lot to be desired. We chose this event instead of driving to the competitor in Wilson County. Several years ago there was an incredible Christmas light show near Opry Mills Mall, but sadly it moved to Wilson County and the Fairgrounds is closer for us. For $60, I would take the chance and drive to Wilson County. This event may be for a good cause, but the value is sadly missing. There are stretches of the procession where lights weren't working and scaffolding laying about without any clear reason. The prerecorded remixes of Xmas music repeated atleast twice and omitted the classics our kids love. There were so many vacant areas along the route where cherry pickers and storage containers were laying about as well as barren sections where Christmas scenes or even Winter montages could have been erected. It was simply untidy. The saddest part was the exit area where they attempted to divert you into a separate Santa related route for an extra $10. As if we hadn't already been shaken down enough! Not one car was having it. In short, if you're looking for a winter wonderland setting with typical winter/Christmas iconography, don't visit. Save your money, turn on the Holiday channel on Sirius and find a few streets in your neighborhood to have a fulfilling evening with your family.
Awesome setup! Very talented designers! ❤
It was a light show, but not a Christmas light show. There are flashing lights that match the music but only one screen that has holiday/winter decorations. It was the same music on loop for about 30 minutes.
Total waste of 55 bucks! There were lights. And the music was ok. But where is the Christmas?! If you’re looking for a light show, with strobing flashing lights in your face, this is for you. If you’re looking for Christmas I’d go somewhere else.
