Absolute worst customer experience I have ever encountered. The lady who welcomed us into the store was very judge mental and definitely the opposite of welcoming. Had high hopes for this store so it’s sad that they have such terrible customer service. The older lady with white hair was very rude and judged my friends and I on the size of clothing we were looking at. I recommend this store if you’d like your self esteem to DROP

First off, I love that this location of Altar'd State has a A'Beautiful Soul; for curvy girls. I just love this store for their inclusivity and passionate staff. I'm always greeted with a warm welcome and really feel like they are there to make me look my best. I often drop in for a particular outfit in mind, birthday dinner, brunch date, etc. and they always find my perfect size/style to fit my event. I highly recommend this store as you will find something for every body and style.

When I walked into the store, I was welcomed with a beautiful smile from Chardonnay. She was friendly, fashionably and educated me about the company's background culture. She asked me what my name was and checked in on me while I shopped. I picked up a sweater and a pair of denim and for the first time in a long time in retail, I was offered a fitting room. Chardonnay gather my items and explained to me that the eyelash sweater were on a great promotion. So I decided to grab one for my daughter. She offered me a bottle of water while I continued to look and she went to start a fitting room. When I was finally ready I waited for her to finish with another customer and she walked over and asked me if I was ready to try on. I followed her towards the fitting room and before we entered she explained how guest are allowed to write anything in it that may need a blessing and how the team intends read over time. I absolutely fell in love with the fitting room, where my name is on the door. Chardonnay made me feel special by styling the extra pieces (sneaky ud83dude04) she added into the room. It was like having a friend for their honest opinion while shopping. Although I only purchased the sweaters, I had a blast with her. I strongly suggest to stop in to visit the unique store and hang out with her. ud83dudc4dud83cudffc

I haven't been to the location since it first open and a lot has changed. I recently stopped in to visit the store and to see Chardonnay. She was amazing when they first opened and very resourceful. I was devastated when I learned they let her go. I believe it is very unprofessional to explain to a customer that her favorite sale person was let go. That is blackballing and and left a bad taste in my mouth which, I will never shop there again. It does not help that I wonder around the store for a little before anyone ever greeted me. Most of the team was behind the register inside of helping me get something down. I personally feel like they lost a really great asset to their team and lost me as a customer.
