A beautiful hike with a great swimming hole at the end!
What a great escape to the outdoors! This hike wasn't planned for but it was well worth it. The hike wasn't the easiest especially with little kids but we survived. With the results of this beautiful waterfall.
Not a strenuous hike, but requires sure footing...lots of rocks to navigate. Great spots to rest along the river and of course the falls are beautiful.
I have loved this hike 45 years. One of the best spurs off the AT. It has to be the best gorge in the Southeast!
