We came in to tent camp for a few days. Got here about 6:30, no packet for us. Had to call the emergency number to get in. Then no one was at the front office for 3 days, checked in 12 hours before we checked out. Never got a phone call back. However, the sites were decent where we were for a tent. Our Fifth wheel would have never made it though. Made for smaller rigs, very very I level sites on the ‘more desirable’ lake side. The new 50 amp side.

We arrived just after Thanksgiving and the place was packed, but yet extremely quiet and chill. The biggest challenge at this park is the sites themselves. You can't find a single level ground anywhere. No matter where we were, 4-6 inches off on either side was the norm. The best part is the sewer line had to run uphill, which turned into a fun game to play throughout the week. HA! All seriousness, yes, there are challenges to getting settled, but once you do, it's smooth sailing from there. The scenery was pretty and there were quite a bit of fun activities (miniature golf, corn-hole, playground, etc.) around the park for the kiddos (and us) to enjoy. We had a blast and could definitely see ourselves coming back again.

Super small sites, lots of dirt/mud, sites are reasonably level but not without some effort on the campers part. Playground is present but very small. Not terrible, but not a spot I want to revisit without a reason to be in the area.

Pros: nice campground with lots of shade at most sites (the limited 50amp sites tend to be mostly in the sun). Staff is very helpful and courteous. Nice pool along with other activities. Access to Lake Hartwell. Plenty of trails and waterfalls within 45 minutes. Fairly good Verizon.nnCons: Roads are hilly and narrow making driving a larger rig a bit challenging. Because of the hills, sites in the 50amp section are close together with not much room for tow/towed vehicle. Most roads and sites need repair, with some sites not very level.

Been here many times. Great location with so much to do in the area. Not many 50amp sites. Which can be a problem for a big rig. Clean facilities and nice staff.
