Moved to Raleigh in June of 2020 from New York. Fortunately found Gino's. Owned by guys from NY, it had the look, feel and taste of an authentic NY pizzeria. Best pizza we've had here. Order a large pie and they give you half slices which is nice. We like to ask for the pie to be well done and it is delicious. Highly recommend, especially if you're from NY.
Always loved Gino's pizza, but just tried their lasagna. THE BEST LASAGNA I'VE EVER TASTED FROM ANYWHERE! Honestly, you have to try it. Had everyone in my house try it and even those who weren't fans of lasagna loved it. Can't wait to try the other menu items!
Probably the best pizza in Raleigh, and I do not say that lightly as I have lived here on-and-off over the past 30 years. The people are great and friendly and the pizza is always perfect. You do not need to look any further for a great slice.
This place is hands down my favorite NY style pizza stop! The guys are great always friendly and the pizza is literally always perfect. I have dined in and gotten take out multiple times and the pies have been consistently good. Also perfect for a quick lunch bite with their 2 slice combo and a drink!
Ate here today for the first time and it was wonderful. Got the 2 slice deal with a drink and also ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. Got a slice of cheese and a slice of sausage. Both were on point, but the sausage was homemade and sliced thin took it to another level. The meat balls in the spaghetti were the best I ever tasted. I was jealous cause mine never turn out that good. Glad I tried it.
