The mailbox is closest to access 1. Parking is at access 2 or 3 (no parking at access 1). Parking is $3 an hour everyday 8am-7pm. Unique historic sight.
Being a mailman on vacation the mailbox caught my interest. I've enjoyed reading stories about it and the time I spent at that beach was a special few days. I could feel all the history that surrounds that special beach.
Awesome idea! Really cool to see where our tourists are from. The messages post florenece disaster were really heart warming.
Nice quiet area, love the idea of putting a note in the box. The mailbox is at access one, but parking is at access two and you walk down.
Best place to meditate, put a wish in the book and keep on dreaming. So happy it survived the Hurricane Florence.
