Lots of wasps/yellow jackets!

I've driven by many times. I've never pulled in to walk around. It was nice. I didn't know the history of that location was previously an airport.nnPlan to return with better shoes and snacks for some birdwatching!
My boyfriend and I have visited a large assortment of parks since quarantine started and this location was by far the best surprise. We saw more wildlife (birds, bugs, a snake!) here than at any other location.
Hidden gem with former air strip, and lots of quaint trails for walking+biking. Also, good for dog walking!
