Coming down a mountain on our road trip through NC, our brakes started to go out. We pulled over and called several repair shops that were all full. Then we called Twisted Rod (who was also full) and told them our situation (just passing through and had a hotel 4 hours away). Even though they had a full day just like every other shop, they decided to squeeze us in and get us back on the road. We could not have been more thankful. To top it off, everyone was INCREDIBLY nice. I do not have one negative thing to say and would highly recommend them to anyone!

Our car broke down in the middle of the night in Old Fort while on the way to visit family. They could not have been nicer or more accommodating. We just wish they'd open up a branch in Tennessee, now!

What a find!!! We were in the area getting our coach repaired at Bob’s RV Body Shop (which was also outstanding!) and needed to repair a slow leak in the Jeep tire, stopped by Twisted Rod and EVERYONE was so nice and friendly!! They fixed it right away and the price was great!!nThanks again for the great service - Nathan and for the welcome with open arms - Dawn!!

I hit an object in the highway and tore a hole in my gas tank, stranding me in Old Fort at 4pm. The woman at the BP station, the nice, white haired man in the truck, as well as the tire and brake shop proprietor, all said, “call Nathan at Twisted Rod”. I did- and they were like a pit crew at the races! Nathan should add counseling to his resume, when, through the fog of WHAT AM I GOING TO DO? (I was on a deadline to a destination) he broke through with “calm down, it’s not the end of the world, here’s your list of options...” At 5 pm on a Friday, Whitney, the kindest person ever to answer a phone, went hours out of her way to ensure I was in a safe place and back on my way...the Twisted Rod people are angels. I’ve never had an experience, or heard a story of an experience, with a mechanic this positive. What could’ve been a terribly dangerous position, and was a terribly unlucky one, was turned into a day that made me feel lucky to be a human. Thank you Twisted Rod!
