Well worth visiting. Not being the travel coordinator I wasn't expecting a man-made dam with spill-off. There is a path that requires a very little climbing to get down to the water. It's lovely, loud and wet down by the creeks edge.
Quite the beautiful sight. We actually stopped at the boat ramp before the falls to dip our toes in the frigid water. We did see the falls on our way back into Highlands NC.
Absolutely Gorgeous! I felt like I was in Scotland. Very Christmas like this time of year a wonderful place and experience.
Scenic. Not a lot to do at site. Interesting rocky area below dam.
Very beautiful view. I spent about 15 minutes there & took some pictures. It would be a nice place to have a small picnic/ lunch but no tables to eat at.
