Clay County Park Campground

Great area sitting right next to the beautiful Lake Chatuge. All campsites are laid out perfectly and as far as I could tell, all equipped with picnic table, fire ring, and power. Water is readily available throughout the park. Showers are also available in the comfort stations. Good, nicely paved walkways throughout with decent playground setups for the young ones. Highly recommended.

Great mountain views, clean showers, great variety of birds, and friendly staff. The maintenance man left some wood he picked up while cleaning, at my tent allowing me to have better fires with out the hunt for stick. Highly recommend.

What a beautiful part of the lake.nSo many of the RV parking pads have a great view of the lake.nCan't wait to see it when the lake level is back up in the Spring.

Well maintained campground during season and year-round place for dog walking and jogging

This is one of the most beautiful campgrounds in the area. It is clean, well maintained, with friendly, helpful staff. There is not a bad campsite The sandy beach is awesome. The pavilions are free to reserve and use.nInternet, bathhouses, trash pickup.nI just love it.
