Coastal Carolina Campground

We came to this camp to find a beautiful river view but the camp was nothing what we expected nor experienced before. This was no more than a fish camp for those who wanted to do that the whole time. Our site was up next to a pole barn and the rest of the park was permanent residents that live there year round. Not true camping. Not a tree nor a fire pit. We would never booked had we know. Now 7 months later they have yet to refund our deposit even though they said they would. We arrived on a Tuesday to just turn away and went somewhere else. He stated that WE ruined his money for the weekend. So save your money and find somewhere else to go if you truly want to camp.

Two days ago we drove in to see the campground with the intention of returning in two weeks time to camp for a week. We were instantly met with another drivers camera sliding by through her car window, just inches from my husbands face, as we slowly took the loop road through the campsite. No conversation so no idea why. We won't be going back.

We spent a week at this campground. Our hostess was very friendly and nice. We had a great time. The campground was very well kept and the neighboring campers were all very nice. Totally peaceful with a good view. From the Beane's.

Some new camping rules in place due to new owners. Mature, healthy fig tree, cherished by all was cut down. Very sad to see Paige and Terry leave.

Absolutely beautiful stay right on the channel! Very nice couple with a gorgeous campground. You couldn't ask for more. Would love to come back!
