Grab a blankie and find a comfy spot while you can.n+) You can social distance EASILY.n+) It's a basic but beautiful park. Cherish it's simplistic reliance on nature to soothe the soul.n-) Watch out for the DEEP cavernous bowls that are most useful for tubing/sledding with snow but potentially dangerous without.n-) Most visitors have to cross the Jamaicaway but their are few crosswalks with stoplights/walking signs. Drivers barely stop to follow pedestrian priority at crosswalks so good luck.nHint: Find parking along So. Huntington or Centre Street and prepare for the walk over. Parking near the actual park is scarce.
Great place for a walk or run around Jamaica Pond. Exceptionally beautiful in the summer and fall. The loop is about 1.6 miles/2.5km.
It was a great day, went fishing with a great friend of mine and we had a great time.
