This was my first extended hospital stay as an adult, and I can't imagine much better than Barnes. The entire staff was excellent, and you can tell they really care about you as a patient. The doctors were outstanding as well and made sure that all my questions and concerns were answered. If you are ever faced with a hospital stay, you can't do any better than the 7th Floor team in the south tower. Professional, caring, and quick are just a few of the adjectives that come to mind.

Nurse Practitioner Megan was terrible. She is an ER NURSE. She was very unprofessional. She came into my mom’s room and greeted my mom with “what’s up”. There was no introduction. I didn’t know whether she was a doctor or nurse until I asked another nurse. She left out of the room shortly after she examined my mom. She handled my mom really roughly even though my mom clearly stated on several occasions that what she was doing hurt. I had to leave out the room and find her to ask her her name. Overall terrible experience.
