Another gem in Missouri’s public lands. Close and convenient. Three paved, hiking trails w/longest just over a mile long. Some good up and down on the longer 2 trails. Can frequently spot a few deer or turkey if you’re quiet. Plenty of benches along the path if you need to stop. Visitor’s Center has interesting displays; great viewing for wild bird feeding area. Only negative, can hear the sounds of the interstate while in the hiking trails.

Awesome place that gives you some wilderness without going out of town. Three different trails, all paved, pretty steep hills though. We hiked them all with a double stroller, no problem. Center closed currently, but porta potties available in the lot. Handicapped accessible, level trail available as well.

A beautiful place for observing nature and walking. All paths are paved and will give you a workout. Plenty of benches to take a break if you need to. Next time I’ll take more pictures, I was completely enthralled by the scenery, babbling brooks, and the hike. Hope you will make your way there to see it for yourself!

Nice, paved trails. Love that it wasn’t a flat walk... there were definitely some steep parts that had my husband and me huffing and puffing! I wish that there was more signage showing which way to go. We realized we had gone the back way on one of the trails that had a short loop and long loop and it wasn’t clear as to which one we were on. We would definitely go again. Great for runners, walkers and families with strollers!
