This is our family's favorite restaurant in OCMD, and we have been coming to this beach for generations. My dad is a crab cake lover and he says they have the best in town, and I would say the same about their cream of crab soup. This place is PRICEY, but you are getting your money's worth, as the food is very high quality, the views are stellar, and the service is just impeccable. They have a wonderful drink menu and make great martinis! You should definitely make a reservation if you're planning on checking this place out, and try to get in for sunset, as even on cloudier days it always dazzles. This is a great date night spot, or fancy night out. I would not recommend this for families, as it is higher end/

Every year we come to The Hobbit to enjoy Easter dinner. I do not know what happened this year. We went later in the evening to enjoy the beautiful sunset which did not disappoint. I usually order the turkey. This year it was awful tasted like processed meat. Definitely not like hand carved turkey as we have enjoyed in prior years. My sister ordered the Salmon with Rosetta and peas. She did not enjoy the salmon and the Rosetta was cold. There are many restaurants that offer Easter dinner we will make a new selection for next year. The Calamari and mussels were awesome and our guys enjoyed the filet mignon Our server Trevor was awesome.

Best lamb I’ve ever had! And the sunset is beautiful. Service food atmosphere everything. The worst thing about the restaurant is the name ud83dude02 love the place !

AWESOME! My wife & I traveled from Milton, DE to visit 2 longtime friends who were on vacation in Ocean City from N.Jersey. It was our first time at The Hobbit and we're super impressed! Matt our waiter was the absolute best and being from the New York area we've dined at some pretty good restaurants in the past. You'd be hard pressed to find someone better. The Wine, Food & Sunset made for a perfect evening! Thank You Matt and Thanks to everyone in the kitchen! Awesome!

Just the name alone got us curious about this place.nBut sitting on the deck, at sunset, with some awesome food, and da bomb waitress (Natalie) made this place heavenly.nThis is not a theme restaurant. No, No, No. This is fine dining and experience at the top of its game. I wore a nice shirt and dressy jeans and felt so underdressed.nThe food is amazing, but the experience will make me come back again.
