Just wanted to give a nice shout out to your tech Paul who came out to diagnose an engine problem I was having. Paul was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and very pleasant to be around.nnHe was able to diagnose my engine problem within a few hours and provide me with options. Even though Paul ultimately gave me some very bad news regarding my engine I truly appreciate how quickly he was able to arrive at a conclusion. Other mechanics who had looks at my engine for a lot longer were unable to arrive at any conclusion.nnI would highly recommend Paul and Tidewater to anyone looking to have their boat serviced. My experience with them is that they do there best to quickly diagnose issues and provide solutions without dragging their feet. They rock!nnPaul

TYSC is the place to go for your haul out, winter storage and maintenance if you're in the Baltimore area. The facility is open on evenings and weekends so you can drop in to check on the boat and the service staff is great during working hours. Kurt specifically keeps our sailboat safe all winter and is always able to handle my concerns. I sleep better at night knowing his team is taking care of the boat.

Truly an awesome, honest, professional and highly skilled yard for powerboats and sailboats big and small. Beyond that, Tidewater provides excellent value. I can't recommend this group enough.nnMy partner and I head from New England to the Caribbean each year on our 57' sailboat, Starlight. Over the years with our different boats, we've utilized services in several yards between Newport and Virginia for seasonal paint and wax, and to help with a number of projects. We've had good and bad experiences, and Tidewater is among the very best.nOur primary contact was Kurt who was very personable, super easy to deal with, always accessible, and attentive to every request. The technicians kept to schedule on all projects while being meticulous. With an impressive array of newer and well maintained equipment at the ready, everyone seems able to work quite efficiently. The yard is kept clean and orderly. Even on projects we budgeted to tackle ourselves, Tidewater's array of talented skilled workers, from the yard guys to the mechanics and rigger, stopped by and were interested and helpful.nnTidewater is convenient to the airport and transportation. It is safe and close to grocery stores, great restaurants and provisions. It was nice to be on land somewhere (for a change) with nice things to do.nnTidewater provided high end service and great value. These guys are impressive. I have no doubt they can handle anything we need for future haul-outs and repairs.

We stored our 35' sailboat at Tidewater this past winter including some mechanical work. Having been a boat owner the past 8 years I've learned to DREAD hiring others to do work. No more. Tidewater is professional and competent with excellent communications. I highly recommend them.

We shipped a boat over from the Netherlands to continue on to the West coast. The guys at Tidewater were super helpful in helping us coordinate everything, get the boat on the trailer and drop the mast. Could not have done it without them! Kurt and the rest of the team went above and beyond what was expected. Awesome group of guys!
