2017 graduate! In all honesty, a great experience for the past 4 years. No excuse for newcomers to not get involved in all the multiple activites this high school has to offer. Though there were fights in the hall sometime and some questionable rules within Parkville, overall its been amazing. In the future, I hope they further improve the Project Lead The Way Program for future engineers, WE NEED IMPROVEMENT!!!
4 years of Parkville High School was a rough, bumpy, and one of the most wonderful experiences in my life. The other students are occasionally a bother but this school has so many tremendous, compassionate, and hard working faculty and staff that these people become more than your teachers; they become your mentor and your friend in your journey to high school. The teachers are willing to work with you if you're struggling as long as you put in the necessary effort to your success, The teachers also take time after school to assist you if necessary which they are not paid for, and the teachers will help you if you have any type of help. These teachers provide you with steps to success, and its all up to the student to climb them.nnAs for the magnet program, i was a member of the interactive media productions pathway and it is a tremendous pathway that provides us with practical skills in order to be successful in various industries of design and art. The computer science aspect of the school is ok. The magnet teachers are very helpful as long as you provide effort and exert improvement along the way.nnTo simplify it, great school, amazing staff, and an experience of a lifetime.
As a student, I can say this is a really good school. Most of the other reviewers seem to think that because the rising diversity in the school's student body is a bad thing. The Magnet program here is amazing and the people here are wonderful
The teachers are cool, the students are meh, the policies SUCK. We have to use one bathroom now because some idiots can’t seem to stop destroying others. The lunch food is monotonous. They are making it feel less like school and more like a babysitting service.
This is it! My final year here and I'm going to miss all the people I came to know at this school. Alot of the staff there know me so well and they'll miss me...nThe reason for the 4 stars is because alot, not too many students are obnoxious and rude, but other than that, I recommend it to anyone living in Maryland.
